Difference Between Hedgehogs And Porcupines

Contraire to popular belief, hedgehog are not even related. Hedgehogs are insectivores, that means they eat bugs. Porcupines are rodents, they do not eat bugs. They aren't even from the same family. Hedgehogs curl up into a ball, but porcupines don't. Porcupines have quills, hedgehogs have short but strong spikes. Porcupines may look cute but don't touch them! Quills and spikes can really hurt when they reach to your skin! So think about reading this website before getting a hedgehog or porcupine as a pet.
